So Alicia told me I had to blog about the Nog... Abigail just loves her egg nog, I think she prefers it over everything else (it will be sad when you cannot get it anymore but she will soon learn). She had two cups of slightly warmed egg nog and then well if you ask Terry or Alicia they would swear that it had something other than egg nog, but I swear I bought it at the grocery store and brought it straight over in the unopened carton so nothing but egg nog. Well anyway Abigail started acting well lets just say she plays a good part. Then she got in her new Christmas present from Grannie Paula and Papa Bob and we started joking that she would need to blow on the little staw to see if it would start. It was just so funny, we all had a great time with it and it was her first day without the bottle completely. So if the nog helps us get past the bottle, I am fine with that.
Blogger is acting up - so if there is time tomorrow I will try posting some pictures but for now just the story.
Hope you enjoy and Merry Christmas to all those we will not see again until the new year. So really Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - see you soon!
To all the saints in Christ Jesus who visit this blog:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Am I lost...
Well I cannot believe how long it has been since I have updated anything. I thought that I would be able to keep up but for some reason the month of November went faster then ever... Abigail is growing so much and talking so much more. I was giving her a bath last night and she clearly said 'Turtle'. Amazing the words she knows - Daddy, Momma, Kitty, Doggie, Ducky, Thank you, Hello, Bye-Bye, and many many more that I just cannot remember them all right now. I may not post for a little while but will try to update the Blog with Pictures of Abigail and her cousins - Ryan and Connor - while we are on vacation! But for now here is a fun picture of her...

Happy 40th Anniversary Bob and Paula!
Well we were fortunate to have the time to spend with my in-laws as they celebrated their 40th anniversary! It is amazing to see how gracious they are to each other and to the entire family as we got to spend more time with them. These are just a few of my favorite pictures. I will be posting more tomorrow as I just cannot decide which are my favorite of the kids. I just wanted to post to show you how beautiful Paula was and how happy she is, despite the cancer. Praise God that she is feeling well and got to really enjoy her time with the family and her wonderful husband ;-)

First Outings page...
I got another page done this last week. I was so excited to get it finished, but ran out of time to get a post done. If you look at the words you will see that the stamp is a little darker than the paper, I just used the VersaMark to stamp with which darkened up the paper where I stamped, so exact match with the paper... Worked great, so here it is...

Harvest Carnival
We had so much fun at the carnival. We went on a fire truck ride and spent a little time in the petting zoo. We also stopped by the middle school area for a little face painting (we got a little ladybug on her cheek). We were so very happy to get there right as it started and dtayed for an hour and a half. Perfect timing and absolutely no argument from the little one when it came time for bedtime...

Still Experimenting
So I am still experimenting with my new camera and waiting for that perfect moment. Not having so much luck. Seems that Abigail takes better pictures when it is someone else trying to take the picture. Sure is fun trying though. Her are two I love. She is so cute and having fun in the leaves and then a great shot of her and Daddy! I love that one!

Moma got a new camera!!!
Wow I cannot believe it, Terry got me a new camera for my birthday - which is not until Nov 2 but he could not wait and I am glad. I just love my new camera. The picture quality has no comparison and I now have the ability to take more than one picture a minute, it is fabulous. Here are a couple shots I took while just playing around and trying to figure out my camera.
I got to play with the photo program we have and I just love how this picture turned out. The city was out fixing the other side of the street yesterday and Abigail stood on this box for almost an hour watching them. Isn't it great how simple things can get their attention and keep it better than we can sometimes ;-)

Our new Church Building
The Church that we attend has never had a building of our own, but now we do! It is awesome, I do not have any pictures of the whole building but just wanted to share the fun pictures that I got of Abigail enjoying our time before our short service. It was so much fun watching her explore!
Notice the scripture verses on the stairs, last week we were all invited to write scripture on the stairs, this will be beneath the carpet, but it is awesome to think that under our feet when we step on the stairs will the the words of GOD! Just a great thought.
The nice thing about having your own church building is that it feels like home, and this feels like home! God has done some amazing things with our church body and we are so blessed!

Visiting Poppy and Grannie Pat
We had a good time this last weekend visiting my Dad and Step Mom Patsy. They really enjoyed seeing Abigail and Dad got some help with his little backyard project. Ok the project will eventually take up the entire backyard but he only needed a little help with one rhododendron ;-) It was fun being away from the house and spending some time with family. I was glad to get some rest also...

Crafting again...
OK - I finally got some more pages done and am glad to share that I am getting closer to my goal of actually catching up. Just posting two pages, still have to finish the other two and then start the next two pages as the idea is already brewing in my head...
The glittery tag on this page says 'At Home'
On the right side middle the wording says '...with ...Visitors'

Grannie is Visiting...
Well my Mom is here and it has been such a joy to see her with Abigail. We have had so much fun. We went shopping on Friday and although we really did not buy much we had fun walking around trying things on and just hanging out together.
Saturday we went over to the Coast. It was such a beautiful day! The sun was shining, no one was at the restaurant when we got there and the beach had people but not too many that we were crowded. As you can tell from the pictures Abigail had a great time, as we all did. The temp was perfect and the breeze was calm...
